[COMPANY / DEVELOPER NAME] (“we”) publishes the Odia Verse Android app. We designed the app to work without accounts and to collect as little data as possible.

1. Information we collect

Anonymous app identifier – a random ID created on your phone so we can keep your points, streak and quiz results. It is not linked to your name, phone number or email.
Selected city – used to show the correct sunrise, sunset, Panchang timings and local weather. We do not use GPS.
Display name – a random nickname (you can change it) shown on leaderboards.
Push token – a Firebase Cloud Messaging token so we can send notifications you have enabled.
Usage events – e.g. “Panchang viewed”, “quiz completed”, used in aggregate to improve the app.
Personal events (birthdays, anniversaries) stay on your phone unless you choose to back them up.

2. Third-party services

Google Firebase (Cloud Messaging, Analytics) – firebase.google.com/support/privacy
WeatherAPI.com and AstroJson – our server requests weather for your selected city and daily horoscopes; no personal data is sent to them.
Google AdMob – shows ads and may use the advertising ID according to your device settings – policies.google.com/technologies/ads

3. How we use information

To show Panchang for your city, keep your streak and points, run leaderboards, send notifications you enabled, show ads and understand which features are useful. We do not sell personal information.

4. Your choices

You can turn notifications off in the app or Android settings, reset your advertising ID in Android settings, and clear app data to delete your local data. To delete server-side data, email [EMAIL] with your display name.

5. Children

The app is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13.

6. Security

Data is sent over HTTPS. API keys and passwords are never stored inside the app.
